THE JAM PROJECT partners up with Wim Wenders during a tailor-made visual creation, projected in the Nave of the Grand Palais from the 18th to the 22nd of April 2019. A unique technical and artistic collaboration, a moment of grace, when the 7th art meets, architecture and video mapping.
In order to dress in sound and images the 13,500 square meters of the Nef of the Grand Palais, THE JAM PROJECT made its 3 jamions available to the artist Wim Wenders. 3 independent technical units equipped with 4 projectors; 12 ultra-high definition 4K projectors.
This unique and monumental scenography is the result of a sharing of expertise between a Director and his team, from the Wim Wenders Foundation and a Scenography and Creation Workshop. THE JAM PROJECT has put his team as much as his experience at Wim Wenders' disposal in order to allow the most optimal use of the space and to offer the spectators a dive into the world of the moviemaker.
More than 22,500 people came to admire Wim Wenders' (E) MOTION at the Grand Palais. A monumental installation, in an exceptional site that, for a few days, moved small and large audiences and brought a new experience to cinema.
