Our first edition took place from June 23 to September 12, 2020 et the Grande Halle de la Villette . JAM CAPSULE, an immersive video-projection device provides a monumental immersive cultural experience unique in the world. In a huge dedicated space of more than 2,500 m², the public discovers different topics such as environment, painting, society, dance, heritage, artificial intelligence, street art...
An extraordinary project
Installed during the summer of 2020 in the Grande Halle de la Villette, JAM CAPSULE is a unique production of THE JAM PROJECT, a scenography workshop dedicated to the cultural and artistic sector founded by ATHEM. This oblong ephemeral cell, made of canvas and measuring 12 meters high, 40 meters long and 25 meters wide houses one of the most important immersive cultural devices in the world.
A unique experience for all audiences
Open to all audiences to understand and learn, JAM CAPSULE invites everyone to immerse themselves into a unique visual and sound artistic experience. With 2,500 square meters of 4K video projection combined with a spatialized sound system, the images unfold and follow every corner of this immense and atypical space.
An immersive journey
Thanks to the most advanced technologies in terms of immersive experience, visitors can travel through several exhibitions, called "capsules". THE JAM PROJECT put this technological device into the hands of selected artists, who, each in their own way, took possession of this tool.
A multilingual experience
Thanks to a multilingual chatbot, the public discovered enriched content on the history and secrets of the projected works. JAM CAPSULE honors different art forms, from dance to music, from painting to cinema.
